Christmas Rice Tree Decoration

A super simple craft activity to create a multi-sensory Christmas tree decoration

Set up

I drew and the cut out two Christmas tree shapes and added the green sensory rice, painted chickpeas (baubles), the PVA glue and glue stick from our December Christmas activity box.

Using the wooden lolly stick, we first applied a generous amount of PVA glue to the cardboard Christmas tree.

Then it was time to sprinkle on the green sensory rice and add the chickpea baubles.

The finished decoration.

If you wanted to hang the decoration up on the tree you could make a hole at the top to thread some ribbon.
