Snowman Christmas Card
This is a super easy and quick to set up Christmas card activity for babies, toddlers and children using resources in your cupboards. It is a highly effective looking card which your child could create independently.
Set Up
To create this snowman Christmas card, I first drew a stencil of a snowman and blu-tacked that stencil onto black card. I used blu-tac so that I could remove the snowman stencil cleanly off the black card. To create the snow around the snowman I tore up cotton wool into different sized balls and placed white paint into an old tupperware container.
My 2 year old and I created this snowman Christmas card in his tuff tray to contain any potential mess. If you are nervous about painting with your baby, toddler or child, read our handy guide to painting to minimise any potential mess.
I explained to my 2 year old what we needed to do and without any hesitation my toddler started creating his snowman Christmas cards.
I waited till the paint was dry before removing the snowman stencil.
The finished card. If you wanted, your child could add an orange nose, eyes, mouth and buttons to add more details to this snowman Christmas card.
