Fireworks Glitter Painting

I love fireworks’ season because the art you can create is so simple but always looks really effective. This fireworks art activity idea for toddlers, babies and children is no exception to this rule. Set Up

So for this fireworks art activity I used my shower curtain to contain any potential mess, glitter paint from Sainsburys, black card, a toilet roll, a kitchen roll and some pipe cleaners. I cut slits into the toilet roll to create a fan effect at one end. I also cut two pipe cleaners in half. Wrapped them together at one end and fanned at the other end. I used the pipe cleaners and the paper rolls because I was worried that the paper rolls would get soggy and they did.

My toddler looked very intrigued at this fireworks art activity when he initially saw it. He picked up the paper rolls to inspect what I had done. I modelled how we would create this fireworks art piece and then we were off.

And here is the finished piece of art work.

This was such an easy fireworks art activity we will definitely be doing it again.
