February’s Box: The Last Chip

Children Subscription Boxes

Welcome to February’s Box!

February’s activity box is inspired by the heartfelt story, ‘The Last Chip’ by Duncan Beedie.

‘The Last Chip’ is a moving and uplifting story about resilience and how simple acts of kindness can transform lives. Percy is hungry and life on the streets is tough, especially when there are bigger birds who keep taking Percy’s food. The little pigeon is about to give up when someone offers Percy their very last chip.

10% of the profits from the sale of this book go to The Trussell Trust to stop UK hunger.

This box will be posted on Monday 1st February.

The box includes everything you need to complete four activities and many more featured on our website.

  • This activity box is not suitable for children under 36 months and contains small parts that may be choking hazards.

  • Please note that our boxes are an educational resource. Adults will be required to do the activities with their child and children cannot be left unsupervised with the box and it’s contents. You must supervise your children while they interact with the resources in this box.

  • Although the playdough may look and smell appetising, due to its high salt content it is not edible. This playdough contains flour (gluten), coconut oil, cream of tartar, salt, food colouring, glycerine and food extract.

  • Although we have taken every precaution possible, we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of nuts or other allergens in our products.

  • Whilst we work hard to produce consistent colours in our playdough, there could be slight colour variations due to the dyes used and colours may vary slightly between batches.

  • The playdough will be sent in compostable bags. Please transfer the playdough into an airtight container and place the bag in your compost or green bin.
